- Plan review & analysis – audit contracts for accuracy, terms and conditions; verify benefits
installed match quotes presented
- Provider & network analysis – monitor vendor / provider relationships, vendor contract changes
and provider network changes
- Claim analysis & appeals – assist both employees and administrators; promptly and courteously
answer claim questions; contact providers’ billing and insurance liaison; submit appeals when necessary
- Billing & enrollment resolution – promptly and courteously answer administrators’ questions;
actively assist with error resolution; initiate contact with vendors
- Staff communication – routinely place courtesy calls to verify that our vendors are meeting expectations
and to identify areas that need additional support
- Renewal & market analysis – negotiate changes in rates and benefits; analyze claims; prepare quote
specifications; submit RFPs to most appropriate vendors; evaluate proposals; analyze provider disruption;
prepare renewal presentation and assist with vendor selection
Enhanced Benefit Brokerage Services:
- Key executive benefits – meet with management team to design and procure supplemental employer funded
insurance programs to benefit the firm
- Retirement plans – coordinate relationships with qualified retirement plan administrators and asset managers.
- Supplemental executive retirement plans – meet with management team to design employer funded SERPs to benefit
key partners and staff
- Voluntary benefits – meet with staff members interested in procuring supplemental insurance
benefits for them and for their dependents
